Tower Block of Commons
Four politicians from each of the major political parties spend a week living on one of four social housing estates, located in Birmingham, Hull, Barking and London. The MPs share the homes of the ordinary people who live there, shadowing their lives and spending nights alone. This ambitious series aims to bring national politicians face to face with local issues they’ve been accustomed to dealing with from behind a Whitehall desk – and will see a number of Britain’s top political and strategic minds engaging with local residents, agencies and initiatives.
